Here at DfE Digital we'll be recruiting for a number of roles over the next few months.
We're primarily looking for people who will be based in our two main digital offices: London and Manchester, but other locations may be advertised too.
We're looking for a range of different skills and expertise - and we'll share them all here...
DfE Digital is a friendly team that’s looking to build its capability and capacity. We're a small but growing, high performing team of talented, agile professionals. We are dedicated to making a difference to our users by building user-centered digital services.
The Department for Education does more than just schools; it is responsible for the care system, higher and further education and all the funding. Our users are children and teachers, university staff, employers, social workers, apprentices... and the 6000+ people that are our staff across the country. And we're helping all these different kinds of people access the services and information they need in the most effective way we can.
DfE have thirteen sites across the UK and many of them have digital teams working on projects within the business. DfE Digital is primarily in London and Manchester, and we're really looking to build our Manchester presence; look out for more jobs coming up there in the autumn. We'll also jobs in other locations where our colleagues are recruiting digital roles.
We're working on projects with real purpose; at the moment two of our biggest projects are focusing how we can improve and simplify the recruitment process for trainee teachers, and bringing all the teaching jobs nationwide into one service, so making the job application process easier for schools and teaching staff.
As a community we're genuinely dedicated to diversity and equality. It’s important to us that our staff reflect the users of our services, so please, include yourself!
If you're interested in working with us, do get in touch. You can message us here, on twitter or there are contact details for each job listed on the advert.
